Call for papers
The symposium consists of oral and poster presentations.
Note that all oral presentations are invited and that we call for poster
presentations only.
Regardless of presentation styles (oral or poster), all contributing authors are requested to submit a
one-page extended abstract that includes the title of paper, author(s) and e-mail
address of the corresponding author, and affiliations in
Microsoft word format. The abstract should be typed in English, using A4 page format
(210-297 mm). The file size must
not exceed 7 MB (including tables, figures, etc.).

The extended abstract should be submitted to Prof. Susumu Inasawa (
inasawa-jk2016@m2.tuat.ac.jp) of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology by e-mail. The body
text of e-mail should include your name, your affilication, and presentation
title.

Deadline for receiving abstracts is
August 31, 2016. Authors whose abstract are accepted by the scientific committee will
be informed by the end of September.
Presentation format
The detailed scientific program is now available in
PDF format. Please note that the program is subject to change without notice.
Keynote:
Presentation time is 30 minutes including time for question/discussion.
Speakers are asked to bring their own laptop for their presentation.
Oral:
All oral presentations are invited. Each presentation has 20 minutes including
discussion.

Poster:
The size of a poster board is 90 cm in width and 210 cm in height, and
please prepare your poster accordingly. Please do not forget to UNDERLINE
the speaker in your poster.
Pins to stick posters are provided by the committee.
The committee will offer the "Student Poster Award" for selected
poster papers presented by students. Poster presentations given by students
will be evaluated in terms of resarch quality, poster design, clarity in
presentation, and personal knowledge in a discussion. Selected posters
will be awarded, and award winners will be announced at the Banquet.
**Important Notice for Poster Presentation**
Poster sessions are conducted in a "rotating" manner because
the number of poster boards is limited. Poster sessions I & II are conducted in Salura Hall, which has space
large enough for all the posters. Before the session I, please post your
poster at the allotted space as shown below.
